IBoard footage

Got our first vid footage posted so we can share this new stoke!

This is Tysons second ever ride on an IBoard, and he's already got it sussed. It's just a gentle slope for us to put our new stick through some paces.

I was stoked how easily we both were able to ride it. Sure, the whole "loose at both ends" feel takes some adapting to, but the ride is so intuitive that the board balances itself under you.

You can score yourself an IBoard by Fuelling our Project over at RocketHub, and be one of the first in the world to sample Dual Steering!

The IBoard has landed!

Well, my son and I managed to duck out between rain showers to sample the delights of TRUE Dual Steering. This radical new inline carves hard with both the front AND rear wheel steering into the turn.

WICKED!

OK, the first runs were shocking - the rear end bites into the carve and whips around under you, while still remaining perfectly poised under your centre of gravity.

But by the second runs we had it dialled. Just lay it over and throw the board in any direction and boy, does it obey! Addictive. I carved all the way to where the road flattened out, and was hungering for more.

The IBoard far exceeded my expectations. easy to learn, intuitive to ride, yet amazingly radical!
Video is coming. My daughter got some on her phone.

Well. We managed a few more runs. It was only nailed together, and things moved and started wobbling. Rain came back, so we called it a day.

On the positive side - dual steering has been proven to work. No going back now. The impossible is achieved, and it is better than all that has gone before it.

Even better, you can even participate in these groundbreaking developments!

Inline Board - steering both ends?

Wow. I've been tinkering, finally gotten a credible design where both ends steer into the carve.
Amazing.

No, I'm not giving any details on how it works. Still pretty rough.
And it needs some IP protection first.

But I'm riding it. Probably the most maneuverable board in the whole wide.

Auckland Luge Track

Found a bit of footage of some boarders riding the Aucks luge. Looks like a fun run, with a magic carpet ride back to the top. Nice.
Apparantly the track is open to boarders during off hours, if you join the longboarding club and yadayada rules...
